COULDN'T STAND ANY MORE!!

Actually, I just didn't have time to finish the course, with the other commitments - and, as those other commitments (S330 and SXG390) were more important to me, I withdrew from the course.

No regrets.

Pooh-bah!

Yesterday, I (FINALLY) got TMA01 back. I lost the 2 marks because I worked in pennies when it was obviously pounds. How did I do that?

Today, they released the marks for CMA42. How can I be disappointed in 86? Well, I am!!! More carelessness, no doubt!! Ah, but NOW it's the time to start relaxing and not be so hard on myself - as what is the point in worrying over much about marks, when you can only get a PASS??

The work is getting much harder now. The sine curves are doing my head in and I'm just off to finish off Q1 of TMA03, with a couple sketch graphs - those should be good!

How long is a piece of string?

Can't believe I'm actually doing this, albeit with regard to how long the strings are between the notes in musical scales! (I'm not sure what use this will be to anybody not very musical, in day to day life ....)

Well, this is block 9, so I've been very busy - despite not being able to concentrate very well, due to the nervewracking wait for the U316 result (still don't have)!

I got 98% for TMA01, which is quite miraculous! In fairness though, that one wasn't exactly very difficult - and I am not expecting similar for subsequent ones!

CARELESS!!

Came back from a (very enjoyable) trip to the Isle of Wight on Monday, to find the result of CMA41. I wanted 100% for it! I SHOULD'VE got 100% for it - but I made one mistake and that meant only (ONLY!) 96%. Bum. And to make matters worse, when I looked on the question paper, I had originally selected the correct answer, but changed it - WHY?! Oh well - there's my big chance of (first ever) full marks blown!

I must get down to some more work now - I haven't touched anything for a week or more. I wish it would stop raining....

Hello!

Decided to start this blog, as I thought it might give me some IMPETUS!! Phooey - I don't know about this course - I wish I could get INTO it. I've been finishing off U316 - and now I have finished it, I have no excuse not to GET WEAVING with the MAFFS! But there are so many books and leaflets and blue sheets and beige sheets (no silk sheets! :)) - blah, blah. I think I'll start at the very beginning. That is the beginning, not the pre. There's lots of pre-stuff - but I really do think that I have most of that covered - so should just DIVE IN to the real bits (which look terminally dull). I've sent the 'how much do you know already' CMA - and shall finish off part 1 of TMA01. So off I go to get started!
